Question 1

Does Gac Fruit need a lot of space?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this vigorous vine can reach 20 feet, so provide a sturdy trellis or fence and allow at least 24 inches between plants.

Question 2

Can I grow Gac Fruit in a container?

Accepted Answer

It's possible with a large container (at least 18 inches deep) and a strong support, but in-ground planting is preferred for best fruit production.

Question 3

Is Gac Fruit self-pollinating?

Accepted Answer

Gac vines have separate male and female flowers; hand pollination may be needed if natural pollinators are scarce.
